What will be the marking scheme in CAT ?
The marking scheme of CAT is quite easy, for every correct answer you will get 3 marks irrespective of the type of question that it is mcq or not. There is a negative marking as well for MCQ’s question, so for every wrong answer of MCQ’s or objective question, there will be a minus of 1 or deduction of 1 mark. However, there is no deduction on non-mcq question or TITA question .TITA stands for ‘Type in the Answer’. In some questions, you will need to type the answer and not select it from options. There is no deduction of marks if you leave any question.
